Hi I’m Helen, I was born and brought up on the Wirral, then after a brief stint away at university I returned to the North West to serve as a church assistant at St Andrew’s Leyland.  During that time I had the opportunity to take part in the second cohort of the Ministry Training Course (2004-2006) – something which has set me up so well for serving and teaching from then until now.

I’m married to Doug and we have two girls who are in high school, Lucy and Hannah.  We love being a part of Wellfield Church in Leyland (planted from St Andrew’s in 2007) where I lead Sunday Club for 2-11’s, sing and do all sorts of admin.

Something else which encourages me every year about the North West Gospel Partnership is being a part of the Buzz leadership team under the umbrella of SOUND holidays – it’s a delight to serve alongside likeminded gospel partners each May.

I’m looking forward to making more connections with many of you across our NWGP churches and supporters as I take up this new role.
