Partnership

NWGP provides the opportunity to meet to encourage one another, be equipped and to pray together for the work of the gospel across the North West.

All of our partnership events include:

  • Teaching from invited speakers: considering key aspects of gospel ministry in a local church
context, and how we can effectively partner together in those areas.
  • Partnership business: discussing the current and prospective work and events of the Gospel
Partnership, so that we are shaping together the things we do to me effective and beneficial for our Partners.
  • Fellowship and prayer: supporting one other by providing a context for sharing the
encouragements and discouragements of ministry and praying together for one another.

Leadership Meetings

Our Leadership Meetings are held regularly with focused meetings throughout the year with our main partnership meeting held in September.

Church leaders from Partner churches, and Individual Partners are invited to bring along other members of their ministry teams, especially members of a staff team, eldership and small group
leaders.

Church leaders who are considering becoming Partners either as a church or as individuals are also welcome to attend to get a feel for what they are like.

If you are interested in attending any of these meeting please sign up for the mailing list or get in touch with our administrator.

Annual Conference

Our Annual Conference is intended to be a great support and encouragement for us in our local churches. It gives an opportunity for people to come together on the basis of our common faith in Christ, and learn, worship and be taught about our God and what it means to live for Jesus in our day and culture.

Sound (14-18 year olds)

Sound is aimed at 14–18 year olds around the North West (and sometimes further afield).

Being a Christian teenager can be hard, but being part of your church family, and knowing you’re also part of something much bigger, the church in the North West and beyond, will we hope, encourage and further equip our young people as they live and share their faith.

We hold 3 events per year to give our teenagers a chance to come together and have a great time with other people who want to live for Jesus or find out more about him.

Come and bring your youth group to meet with others from all over the North West and we will provide them with memorable days and evenings, and you with some great ideas to try in your own church.

For details of the next November, Spring and Summer Sound, please see our events page or Downloadable flyers, and info about how to book are on the website www.thisissound.com. You can sign up for updates about the events, like us on facebook or follow us on twitter. Please get in touch if you’d like to know more sarah@plattchurch.org.

Youth worker lunches

Regular weekday events for youth and children’s workers from all over the North West.

These lunches include a talk on a contemporary issue in youth and children’s ministry and a chance to meet and share ideas and vision with others who work with young people. Our aim is that these times will inspire, encourage and equip you to continue proclaiming the gospel to the next generation.

To be contacted about future events please email info@northwestpartnership.com.

Regional Partnerships

The partnership has been divided into 8 smaller regional areas to encourage and support local partnership and to promote the work of NWGP in their area. Find out more at our Regional Reps page.
