Director

Rev'd Dr Rohintan Mody

Ro started with NWGP in the summer of 2023. He has a passion for training people from a wide variety of cultures in Word ministry to equip them for serving their local church for the glory of God. He has had many years experience preaching and training Bible teachers in London, the West Midlands, Aberdeen,commuter-belt Surrey, Bournemouth, Singapore and Cambridge in both Anglican and independent churches. Since May 2017 Ro has been New Testament Lecturer and Academic Dean at the Evangelical Theological College of Asia in Singapore, equipping students for expository Word ministry in south east Asia. Ro is married to Rita and they have an eighteen year old daughter Charis.

Sara Holland

Sara is in charge of the administration of the North West Gospel Partnership. She is the first point of contact for the Partnership, so do get in touch via the contact page if you have any questions.

Sara belongs to the church family at All Saints Preston. She is married, has 2 children who are both studying at University and spends more time than she would like on the M6! 

The Trustees for NWGP, help plan our activities and oversee NWGP’s finances.

Paul Baxendale

Pastor at Parr Street, Kendal

Paul is currently the pastor of Parr Street Evangelical church in Kendal where he has served for the past 8 years. Prior to that he spent 16 years ministering in Anglican churches – first as a curate in Kendal itself and then as the vicar of two rural parishes just south of Kendal. A native of South Lakeland, Paul grew up in Ulverston and is married to fellow Cumbrian, Jane, with whom he has two adult sons. He dreams of there being more Jesus-centred, Gospel preaching churches established in this part of our region and of Blackpool returning to (and winning?!) the Premier League one day.

Alan Kellard

Member at Northwood Chapel, Liverpool

Alan grew up in an RAF family, he joined the Royal Navy and finished his time in the submarine service. During his last year he became a Christian, joined a church in Leeds and married his wife Liz. Since then he has worked for Barnardo’s, BICC and finally Liverpool City Mission until retirement . He has been married 36 years, has a son, a daughter and 3 grandsons.

Sarah Bradley

Youth & Childrens Minister, Holy Trinity Platt

Sarah has been working at Holy Trinity Platt since 2009. She works with 0-18s throughout the week, her favourite age group is usually the one she’s just worked with. Back when we were able to she loved to travel and has visited overseas mission partners in India and North Africa. She has been involved with NWYW for many years, including leading the Sound team. She’s passionate about helping children and young people, love Jesus, love his church and love his world.

Phil Wells

Member of St Mary's Cheadle

Phil Wells is a Chartered Accountant who specialises in charity accounting. He is currently Head of Finance of a charity based on the Wirral that provides services to the community, including supporting people back into work, those suffering from social isolation and families who are experiencing domestic abuse. He is a Lay Reader in his home church of Cheadle, Cheshire and has recently completed year two of the Ministry Training Course. He has three grown up children and a grandson. To relax, Phil enjoys time spent with family, gardening, walking and when possible, travelling.

 

Shalom Srirangam

Elder at Union Hall

Shalom has worked for the NHS in Manchester and Lancashire since graduating. He joined Union Hall as a student, he and his wife, Esther, were married there and both their children grew up at Union Hall. If he has any free time, it is largely spent taxiing his children around, perfecting the garden hedge, or following the fluctuating fortunes of Liverpool FC (Premier League Champions in 2020!) and the Indian cricket team from the sofa.

Andrew Raynes

Vicar Christ Church Blackburn

Andrew is married to Chantal, and they have two adult children, who are both members of NWGP churches. Andrew is vicar of Christ Church Blackburn, an Anglican church in the heart of a largely Asian heritage area of the town. One of the joys of ministry over the past couple of decades has been to see the way that the church family has become increasingly diverse in its cultural makeup. Before ordination, Andrew worked with UCCF in central London. He and Chantal met in Pakistan working with Operation Mobilisation.

Hannah Fox

Women's Worker, All Saints Preston

Hannah has been serving in a church in Preston since 2007. She loves being involved in the discipling of women and young people and has enjoyed serving on the NWGP Ministry Training Course for many years. She comes from sunny Cornwall and loves to visit family there at any opportunity. She loves the outdoors and has recently taken up bee-keeping… 

Eddie Bridle

Assistant Pastor, Bankhall Mission Bootle

Eddie is Kathryn’s husband and Max and Florence’s dad. He is the assistant pastor of Bankhall Mission Church in Bootle, Liverpool. Eddie is originally from Cheshire and after working in HR and broadcast journalism was encouraged to train for ministry. He spent four years working at St John’s Over in Winsford and did some theological study with Union School of Theology through the NWGP learning community in Liverpool. He’s been involved with children’s and youth work in a few different churches and a CPAS Venture for over ten years. Eddie is a big fan of Dungeons and Dragons, Stephen King’s books, many movies and TV shows, video games, and good coffee and beer.

David Whitehouse

Vicar, St Andrews Leyland

David  grew up in Manchester and spent 20 years working with teenagers. He oversees the ministry at St Andrew’s Church Leyland and helps the leaders to serve Jesus.
